JSS 5th class win Engineering Ireland Technology for Life competition!

5^TH class boys and girls have competed in the Engineering Ireland Technology for Life competition for the last two years, both times ending up as finalists.  This year they went one better and  THEY WON !

More details to follow but congratulations to Mrs Dempsey, Mr Sheils and all of 5^th class.  We are very proud of you.

String Quartet Win!

Newsflash!

Our first John Scottus String Quartet took part in a new Music Festival held at Aravon School in Bray yesterday, 6^th June. There were six competitors in the ‘Mixed Ensemble’ contest and the adjudicator was Alan Smale, leader of the RTE Symphony orchestra. Our quartet gave a beautiful performance of ‘Minuet and Trio’ by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – and were placed first!
