At the invitation of Mr Kortenhorst, the French Theatre for Schools Group performed “Le Bon Roi”with 1st through 4th year on the 13th November. Several volunteers (including some very reluctant ones!) participated.
Overall the experience proved a highly enjoyable way to learn French. Our thanks to Mr van de Belt, JSS official photographer and Principal Archivist for producing the video presented below.
TY celebrated the culmination of their cookery module at Donnybrook Fair Cookery School in style. On Friday 9th at 12.45pm Transition Year students served a delicious lunch in the secondary school and also to teachers and parents in Donnybrook Fair. Everyone was invited to support the TY project in India and help provide good education for poor rural children by paying just €5 for their lunch. TY cooked, plated and served many delicious lunches and raised over €500.
